Certification

• Organic certification (Agriculture Biologique) formed by the French Ministry of Agriculture and officially put into use in 1985.
• For organic products to obtain this organic mark: they must contain more than 95% Organic ingredients and must be produced or processed within the EU.

• Since 1987, Australian Certified Organic (ACO) is Australia’s largest certification center for organic or original ecological production. More than 1500 manufacturers are in this certification center.
• ACO is vigorously promoted by the Australian Organic Farm Federation (BFA) and provides organic certification services to organic manufacturers.
• Products with this certification must contain at least 95% organic ingredients, and the rest must be natural.

•  All agricultural products from organic farms in Germany must bear the Bio-Siegel label.
•  German organic producers and manufacturers must comply with the EU Organic
• Agriculture Regulations and accept strict supervision and testing before the organic products and environmentally friendly products they sell can be affixed with the label.

• A professional certification organization for organic skin care products established in  France in 2002.

• More than 95% of the ingredients in the certified products are from natural  ingredients (including water and salt), and at least 10% of the whole is organic.

• Due to its strict specifications, it is not easy to obtain this certification, and its certification mark is highly credible in the world, especially in the European Union.

• Bioland is the largest association of organic growers in Germany, established in 1971.
• The certified products have very strict requirements from the planting land, which is far higher than the EU standards.
• All farms must be 100% organically cultivated, genetically modified seeds are not Allowed. Chemicals and pollutants are strictly prohibited on land, water, air, living environment of animals and plants, disease treatment, and feed.

• Organic products with the Demeter label require agricultural production, processing, finished products and packaging, etc., and every link in the whole process must strictly follow Demeter’s organic standards.
• Must be with more than 95% organic ingredients, come from 100% organic land, and only 13 types of other specified ingredients are allowed, which is far lower than the EU’s 48 types.

For all agricultural products affixed with this certification mark in Canada, their production and management standards must meet the requirements of the Organic Production System Regulations, and more than 95% of all ingredients must be organically produced or grown.

• CCPB is an organic certification body approved by the Italian Ministry of Agriculture and the European Union. Products that have obtained this certification must contain 95% or
• more of organic ingredients. The use of genetically modified, chemical pesticides, fertilizers and antibiotics is strictly prohibited.

• China’s “Organic Product Certification Management” law and the national standard for organic products are owned by the China Government.
• To obtain China’s organic certification, products must contain more than 95% organic ingredients (except water and salt), and chemically synthesized pesticides, fertilizers, feeds, additives, and genetically modified substances must not be used.

• Ecocert is Europe’s earliest organic product certification and management agency.
• Ecocert’s activities are regulated by the French authorities.
• Products that have obtained this certification must contain at least 95% herbal ingredients, and at least 10% of them must be organically grown.

• Ecogarantie® is the symbol of environmentally friendly products in Belgium.
• Products must meet strict quality requirements and safety standards, and at the same time comply with the sustainable development of the environment, mostly used for cleaning products.
• To obtain this certification, the product must not be tested on animals, the use of genetically modified and chemically synthesized substances is strictly prohibited, and the packaging must be biodegradable.

• The EU organic certification began in the 1990s. Products that have obtained this organic mark must be produced in accordance with the guidelines in the EU Organic Law.
• It is strictly forbidden to use chemical pesticides and fertilizers, antibiotics, and food additives such as artificial flavors and dyes.
• The original ecology of organisms, the safety of soil and water quality must be maintained, and genetically modified substances must not be used; products must contain 95% or more of organic ingredients

• The fairtrade mark is an independently monitored product mark designed to support small farmers and workers in developing countries to receive reasonable treatment, eliminate poverty and unfair commercial exploitation, and help farmers’ families to continuously improve their living.
• Fairtrade products restrict the use of pesticides and chemicals, and prohibit the use of genetically modified seeds.

• ICEA organic certification is an organic certification approved by the Italian Ministry of Agriculture and the European Union, covering food, personal care products, cleaning products and textiles.
• To obtain this organic certification, the product must contain 95% or more organic ingredients.

• JAS (Japan Agricultural Standard) is the Japanese agricultural organic standard.
• This standard is used by the Codex Alimentarius Commission to guide every aspect of organic food production, processing, packaging and sales.
• Products with this certification must contain 95% or more of organic certified ingredients (except water and salt), and the rest must be natural or chemical ingredients approved by the Japanese government. And strictly regulate the cultivation, production, processing and packaging of products.

• Headquartered in Belgium, this certification only takes care of personal care products to have this certification.
• Products with this certification must contain at least 95% natural ingredients, and these natural ingredients must be derived from organically grown or wild plants.

• Naturland organic certification team was founded in 1982.
• The standard is very strict, the farmland that has obtained this certification must be 100% organic
• The finished product must contain 95% or more organic ingredients.

• NFCC is a subsidiary of Organic Food Federation (one of the first organic product certification bodies established in the UK).
• Specially provides certification for personal care products and other products that are not currently included in the organic regulations.
• The purpose of NFCC is to ensure that the final product sold contains only organically certified ingredients and pure natural plant extracts to ensure product efficacy, quality and safety.

• The Soil Association was founded in 1946 and is a leading authority in the UK that specializes in providing commercial operations and certification for organic food and agricultural products.
• Products with this certification must contain 95% or more of organic certified ingredients (except water and salt), and the rest must be natural or chemical ingredients approved by the British government. It strictly controls the cultivation, production, processing and packaging of products.

• USDA is the organic certification mark of the United States Department of Agriculture.
• Products with this certification must contain 95% or more of organic certified ingredients (except water and salt), and the rest must be natural or chemical ingredients approved by the US government. And strictly regulate the cultivation, production, processing and packaging of products.

• Quality Assurance International (QAI) is an independent third-party organic food certification body, which is the basis for the trade of organic food in the United States and abroad.
• The QAI certification program requires that every aspect of organic production must undergo strict supervision and testing, with at least 95% or more organic ingredients (except water and salt).

• Oregon Tilth (a non-profit research and education organization established in the United States in 1974), dedicated to the study of biological rationality and social equity in agriculture.
• It mainly provides educational activities for farmers, gardeners and consumers in the entire Oregon State, and provides organic certification services for organic growers and processors.
• This mark is consistent with USDA organic certification standards.

• The Vegan Society is an international organization that promotes a natural lifestyle.
• Try to avoid all acts of indiscriminate killing of animals for food, clothing or any other purpose.
• Products with this mark must not contain any form of animal ingredients.
